Blog Assignment 4

Blog  update!  Go through the blogroll you created earlier in the semester of news/culture/technology blogs and give a summary of what you've been reading on those sites.  In a single blog post that is one to two paragraphs (4-7 sentences each), summarize two to four articles or themes found in the blogs.

If you still don't have a blogroll, that's going to set you back here, but you'll still need to finish this assignment by Tuesday, October 7. Thursday, October 9.

September 11 Assignment

-Go to the Library’s main page.

-Find FIVE databases or journals dealing with media or technology (movies, music, video games, satellite, cable, etc.)

-Name them on your blog and describe in a sentence or two what their purpose is (i.e., what they're about.)

-Find ONE article from EACH journal or database and summarize it on the blog in a couple of sentences.

Due by 9/14 at 1:00pm.

EXAMPLE:

Journal: New Media & Society

This journal publishes information about communication, media and cultural studies.

Sample Article: Chinese Culture & Software Copyright, by Jia Liu.  This article discusses the how Chinese culture interprets and addresses copyright infringement.

Your work does not have to look exactly like my example, but you need to get the same basic information - the journal and the database and the sample article - clearly stated in your post.
